Personal Training

At Cat Hill, we believe that strength training is essential to a happy and healthy body. Strength work is the foundation on which athleticism is built. Without it, we risk injury and reduce our athletic potential.

Personal training sessions are taught over Zoom. In the first session, we complete a detailed movement assessment. This assessment and your goals are used to create a personalized training plan.

A detailed  program with demonstration videos is included with 1 hour sessions. These are put in a private Google document which you can access after each session.

Programs are adapted to the equipment each athlete has at home. We can do a lot with resistance bands and a couple of larger weights.

Self motivated and just need a little help getting started? 

The goal of this online session is to help you identify what areas of your training to focus on.
I use an active range of motion assessment to decide which exercises and breathing strategies will help improve your quality of movement and performance. I send you a follow-up email with a customized program and the recording from our session.    

Run coaching

Whether you’re new to running, returning to running, or an experienced runner, dedicated coaching can help you make the most of your valuable time and effort. 

If you’re new to Cat Hill, we start with an initial call to get to know each other.

Runners will receive a shared Google Sheet with their personalized run workouts. Athletes can input feedback following their runs directly into the Sheet, and we make modifications to subsequent workouts as needed.

Once a month, we have a check-in call to talk over your progress and programming.
